Patsy has served as President of Bay Area Escrow Services since her acquisition of the Corporation in 1991. It has been one of the most highly regarded independently licensed escrow companies serving California since its incorporation in 1984. She possesses valuable experience as an owner and operator of a small business while meeting the strict licensing requirements of the Department of Corporations. While managing the corporation, Ms. Mercado has personally handled numerous business transactions and has successfully trained and staffed her escrow office of as many as 15 employees at a time. Ms. Mercado has extensive experience in all areas of business transactions, including transfers with ABC Liquor Licenses. In 1998 Patsy earned her Professional Designation as a Certified Senior Escrow Officer as a Bulk Sale Specialist from the State of California. She has had the privilege to serve on the Board of the local escrow association in the position of hospitality.

Since 2000 Juan Mercado has been a stockholder, operator and CFO of Bay Area Escrow Services. He is also a stock holder, operator and CFO of J.P. James, Inc., a consulting company.

Since 2001 Anna Luce has been an escrow officer at Bay Area Escrow Services handling a variety of types of escrows, such as Bulk Transfers, with and without alcohol licenses, commercial and residential escrows for both sales and refinances and mobile home transactions.

Beverly has worked with us at Bay Area Escrow Services since 2006 as an Escrow Assistant. She started as an Escrow Assistant and is now working as an office administrator. Her responsibilities range over a wide area of the office and her skills in all the areas make her a valuable member of our team.
